Fighting Hawks have win streak snapped, 5-2, at Oral Roberts

Box Score TULSA, Okla. -- The University of North Dakota women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Oral Roberts on Saturday afternoon from the Bernis Duke Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. 

ORU jumped out to a 1-0 lead in a trio of tightly-contested doubles matches, as the Golden Eagles captured 7-6 victories on the No. 2 and 3 courts to grab the advantage. The top duo of Sapir Sela and Andrea Jansson notched a 6-4 triumph in two-person play. 

Nore Heinitz got the Fighting Hawks on the board with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at the No. 4 position, but ORU answered back with a pair of wins at the second and sixth spots to grab a 3-1 advantage.

Sela kept her strong day going with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory at the top spot to pull the Hawks within one at 3-2, but the Golden Eagles notched a pair of three set wins to take the match victory by a 5-2 score. 

North Dakota will remain on the road for the start of a swing through Texas beginning on Tuesday against Lamar at 9 a.m.
