Last Time Out
North Dakota put on a clinic at the Summit League Championships two weeks ago, as nine of its 10 scoring athletes earned All-Summit League honors. The Fighting Hawk women clinched their first Summit League title in school history, while Jadyn Keeler claimed the women's individual crown.

UND's women won the 6K team title with 34 points, trailed by South Dakota State (53 points) and North Dakota State (71 points). The win marked the first Summit League title for not only the cross country team, but also the first Summit League crown for any program at North Dakota since joining the league.

The Fighting Hawk women dominated the meet, as the individual title was taken in a record-breaking performance by Keeler. She clocked a 6K meet record time of 19:21.1 and picked up the crown and First Team All-Summit League accolades. Her time eclipsed the previous Summit League Championships record time of 20:32.92, set by Purdue Fort Wayne's Emma Rafuse in 2018.

Shewaye Johnson and Marie-Louise Jorgensen also picked up First Team honors and were fourth (20:25.5) and fifth (20:45.4), respectively.

Bringing in Second Team accolades were Katherine Rogers (ninth, 21:01.3) and Elle Sondag (15th, 21:11.5). The sixth and seventh spots were also claimed in close fashion as Frida Giersdorff and Gabrielle Wahl went back-to-back with 16th and 17th place finishes with times of 21:11.9 and 21:13.2, respectively.

The meet began with the men's 8K, where NoDak was the runner-up with 46 points. SDSU was the team champion with 38 points, while NDSU got third with 76 points.

North Dakota was led by Louis-Lys Fanucchi, who broke from the pack to clock a time of 23:58.8 for a third-place finish and First Team All-Summit League status. Following close behind was Matej Hrebacka, running a 24:01.2 for seventh place and First Team accolades.

Joining in on the scoring and picking up Second Team status were Aleksa Milanovic (24:13.0, 10th), Ethan Adams (24:16.3, 12th) and Henrik Lindstrot (24:30.0, 14th). The team's sixth and seventh spots went to Ian Busche (24:32.3, 16th) and Niko Angell (24:44.9, 25th).

Before the meet, Ethan Kimmel was announced as the 2025 Summit League Cross Country Men's Scholar of the Championships. At the end of the competition, Keeler collected Championship M.V.P. honors and Jorgensen was named the Newcomer of the Championship.
