| By:
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- University of North Dakota sophomore forward Charlie Basinet was named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Peak Performer of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, as announced by the league. It is the first weekly accolade for Basinet in her career.

Basinet demonstrated her offensive prowess in North Dakota's 4-0 victory over Eastern Washington on Thursday, logging three goals to collect her first career hat trick. This feat marks the first time a Fighting Hawk has recorded a hat trick since Amelia Loeffler in the 2023 season. The San Diego, Calif., native followed up her three-goal outing with an assist in UND's 3-1 win against Jamestown. Basinet closed the second week of action with seven points to lead the Fighting Hawks to a perfect 4-0 start for the first time since 2005.

She currently ranks tied for third in the nation with five goals this season while her 12 points are fourth nationally.

North Dakota will look to make it five straight wins on Friday afternoon at Jackson State.
