GRAND FORKS, N.D. - No. 15/14 North Dakota will visit Northern Iowa this Saturday. Kickoff between the Fighting Hawks and Panthers is set for 4 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN+. It will also be carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with a pregame show starting at 3 p.m.

North Dakota is 2-2 after routing Valparaiso on Homecoming, 58-7, two weeks ago. After the Beacons trimmed the lead to 24-7 with a touchdown after intermission, Sawyer Seidl returned the following kickoff 92 yards for the score and the game was never closer after that point. Seidl recorded a trio of touchdowns in the win, scoring the opening points on a seven-yard rush and then adding a 20-yard receiving touchdown late in the first half before the kickoff return in the third quarter. He finished with a game-high 168 all-purpose yards, highlighted by 101 yards on kick returns.

Northern Iowa enters the contest at 2-2 overall after falling at Utah Tech, 20-9, two weekends ago. Matthew Schecklman went 18-for-31 passing for 160 yards in the game. Ayden Price was the leading UNI receiver with 49 yards on two receptions, while Bill Jackson led the running backs with 36 yards on 11 attempts. Kicker Max Bartachek scored all of the points for the Panthers and was 3-for-3 kicking, including a career-best 46-yarder.

In the all-time series, UNI holds a 26-15 lead. Northern Iowa also holds a 16-5 record in the series in games played at home. The two squads have only met on the gridiron three times as MVFC members and the home team has won each of those contests. North Dakota's last win at the UNI-Dome was a 35-31 thriller on Sept. 9, 2006.
