GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Post-season competition kicks off this week as the North Dakota track and field team heads just slightly south for the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held in Fargo from Thursday, May 14 to Saturday, May 16.
Championship competition kicks off at 12 p.m. on Thursday with field events before the multi events begin at 1 p.m. and track events follow at 6 p.m. Day two begins with the multis at 11 a.m. with field events starting at 2 p.m. and track action kicking off at 4 p.m. Saturday—the final day of the meet—will resume at 11 a.m. with field competition while 12:20 p.m. marks the beginning of track events.

Ranking Roll Call
As of May 12, the UND women were ranked No. 13 in the Midwest Region and No. 67 in the nation—the highest ranking for a Summit League team—while the men held No. 23 in the Midwest Region and No. 149 nationally according to the USTFCCCA. It also places the women as second in the Summit League with the men in fifth.

Seven members of the women's Fighting Hawk track and field team rank in the Top 48 of the West Qualifying List, which would earn them bids to the NCAA West Prelims before the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Those currently in the Top 48 include:
