GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota women's soccer is flying out west for a two-game slate on the road as the Fighting Hawks are set to take on UC Santa Barbara and UC Riverside in a pair of weekend matches.
 
It all kicks off in a late-night Thursday evening face-off as the Fighting Hawks and Gauchos meet for just the second time in program history and the second time under UND head coach Henrik Sohn. After first dueling last season at Bronson Field that resulted in a 2-1 loss for North Dakota, the series will be renewed with a 9 p.m. CT game at Harder Stadium.
 
Sunday will then mark yet another historic match-up for North Dakota as the Fighting Hawks face the Highlanders for the first time in program history. The new series will formally begin with its first installment in the former of a Noon CT kick at UCR Soccer Stadium. It marks the second time that UND has faced an opponent for the first time in program history in as many weeks.
 
Thursday's match against UC Santa Barbara will be streamed on ESPN+ with Hunter Shumake on for play-by-play while Sunday's game at UC Riverside will not be streamed. Both will provide live stats.
