GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Through the generous donations to the Holiday Magic from Markus Charity, the UND football team donated money and autographed memorabilia to a local family in need. Two-thousand dollars and signed memorabilia such as a football helmet, men's hockey jersey, footballs and hockey sticks were donated to the family of Skyler Voiss and will be auctioned off at a benefit dinner with proceeds going towards the family's medical expenses.
Skyler Voiss was born with a rare condition named Goldenhar's Syndrome. To offset increasing medical expenses, the American Legion Club in East Grand Forks will be holding a benefit spaghetti dinner on May 18 at 4 p.m.
The Voiss Family is still accepting donations for the event. For more information contact Shelly at (218) 773-8910.
