This week is one of the biggest games of the season for the UND football program.  We will be heading to California to play one of our conference opponents, UC Davis, for the conference championships. 

This is the first time in Fighting Sioux football history that we have a chance to win a conference championship at the Division I level. 

We are both tied for first place in the GWC at 2-1. Last year, we played UC Davis at their place and they beat us 34-21.  I know it will be a battle and a fun game this weekend with an already sold-out crowd. 

This week has been a little different than other weeks for practice.  Tuesday's practice was shorter than usual, as we were up against time due to daylight.  On Wednesday, practice was moved to earlier in the day due to no school and Veterans Day. 

So far in preparing for UC Davis, everything has been good and going smooth.  We finish up with practice today and depart for California on Friday morning.  Kickoff is this Saturday at 3 p.m. central time.
