Omaha, Neb. - Junior Sadie Martin continued her strong play at the Creighton Classic, finishing fourth in the 36-hole tournament with a final round score of 77 (+5). Martin's two-day total of 155 (+11) was good enough to post her second top-five finish of the season.
Senior Mikki Kromy worked her way into a top-10 finish by shooting her second straight 82 (+10). Kromy ended up in a tie for 10th.
South Dakota held on for the team win despite shooting 18 strokes higher as a team on Tuesday. The Coyotes (642; +66) held off host Creighton, who finished four strokes behind with a 646 (+70).
Bellevue equaled Northern Iowa for the best team score of the second round with respective scores of 321 (+33). The score allowed Bellevue to remain in third, while the Panthers moved past UND to secure fourth place.
UND remained in fifth with a final round score of 336 (+48), while Omaha fell from fourth to sixth following a 341 (+53).
UND concludes its fall season on Oct. 27-28 at the UAB Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
