Baseball announces commitments

GRAND FORKS, N.D.—University of North Dakota head baseball coach Jeff Dodson announced his commitments from this past signing period Wednesday. The group includes six athletes from four different states (Ariz., N.D., Minn., Wis.) set to enroll at UND in the Fall of 2015.

“With us losing 12 seniors, we had to replace a lot of guys who have a lot of experience,” Dodson said. “We feel that this class has addressed the majority of the positional needs as well as a couple of arms. We have signed some very athletic and strong kids that will have to make an immediate impact in their freshman year. Our recruiting coordinator, Brian DeVillers, and associate head coach J.C. Field did a nice job of targeting high character kids that will be great additions to our university and program.”
