Box Score OMAHA, Neb. -- After falling in a tightly-contested showdown last night, the University of North Dakota women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Creighton on Saturday afternoon to close out its first weekend of action.
UND (0-2) battled against its foe from the BIG EAST Conference, taking a trio of matches to a third set, but fell short in knocking off the Bluejays.
In doubles play, Creighton claimed the early 1-0 lead with a pair of 6-1 triumphs on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. The duo of
Andrea Jansson and
Nina Zdravkovic were trailing, 3-2, from the No. 2 position when play was halted.

North Dakota will enjoy a week off from action before heading to Minneapolis for a pair of contests against Minnesota (Feb. 1) and Northern Iowa (Feb. 2).
