Jennifer Parent vaulted into a tie for second all time at North Dakota with a jump of 12-9.5 in the pole vault. Parent moved into a tie with Jessica Clausnitzer cleared that height in 2008. Parent trails only former UND All-Amiercan
Kyley Foster in the event in the UND record book. Later in the day, she won the triple jump with a mark of 37-11.75 which ranks fifth in program history.
North Dakota won four events including
Lucy Steinmeyer in the 200m (25.13),
Jack Vetsch in the 60m hurdles (8.25),
Austin Wolf in the high jump (6-7.5), Connie Wolhfahrt in the mile (4:57.39).
Vetsch moved into a tie for 4
th in program history in the 60m hurdles. Steinmeyer's time improved by .17 seconds as she remains in sixth in the event all time at UND, just .01 out of fifth. Wohlfahrt's time moves her into 6
th all time in the event in North Dakota history.
Six Hawks finished second in their event including
Luke Labatte in the mile (4:14.57),
Jake Lee in the 60m (7.17),
Amanda Robbins in the 800m (2:17.84),
Erica Benson in the high jump (5-3.5), Parent in the pole vault and
Destinee Rose-Haas in the weight throw (65-7.5) – the event she won last weekend in Brookings. Unnattached Hawk
Hannah Oscarson finished just behind Wolhfardt in the mile in 4:57.80.
There was more movement on the program top ten list.
Connor McMannes finished the 800m in 1:54.87, good for eighth all time.
Nick Oak's performance in the mile (4:19.88) is tenth all time. Steinmeyer clocked a 7.77 in the 60m which ranks third all time in UND history.
North Dakota will return to action next weekend in Fargo at the Bison Open, a two day meet with multi events on Friday and other events on Saturday.
