LAST TIME OUT

The Fighting Hawks dropped a 2-1 decision to in-state rival North Dakota State on Sunday afternoon from Bronson Field.

The Bison's Gabrielle Garrett secured an early lead just 54 seconds into the contest after an attack to the top right corner of the goal.

Milan Cordone tied it up for the Hawks with a shot to the bottom right of the goal in the eighth minute of the first half.

NDSU retook the lead in the 52nd minute as Morgan Russmann scored unassisted top left of goal. UND attempted three shots in the second half prior to the 75th minute but would be unable to get an attempt off in the final 15 of the defeat.

OFF TO MILAN

Sophomore forward Milan Cordone has not been slown down by a sophomore slump so far, as the Las Vegas, Nev., native enters the weekend as the team leader with ten points.

After battling back from an injury through much of September, Cordone scored her fourth goal of the season in the 2-1 loss against NDSU.

Milan Cordone, in the eight road matches, has held a perfect 1.00 SOG percentage. Off her five shot attempts, Cordone holds the team-high two road goals.
