Set a GWC single-game high with 24.3 pass yards per attempt and 36.5 pass yards per completion against Wisconsin-LaCrosse ... Recipient of the 2008 Athletics Director Award of Merit.

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in six games ... Went 14-for-27 for 165 yards, two touchdowns and one interception ... Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Humboldt State (Aug. 23) and threw his first career touchdown pass ... Saw his most extensive playing time in UND's NCAA second round playoff loss at Grand Valley State ... Came off the bench in that game to go 8-for-12 for 110 yards and a touchdown.

2006: Redshirt season.

Before UND: A 2006 graduate of Grand Forks Central High School ... Led the Knights to a 2005 Class AAA state championship ... Was named to the all-state first team as a senior and captured his second consecutive all-conference first team nod ... Selected to the 2005 Shrine Bowl and MonDak game ... Was named Central's 2005 Offensive Co-Player of the Year after passing for 1,531 yards and 18 touchdowns ... A 2005 all-state second team selection and two-time (2005, 2004) all-city pick ... Also competed in basketball and baseball.
