Had a career Homecoming game versus Western Washington (Oct. 18) when he recorded a career-high five solo tackles, including two sacks for 14 yards ... Finished with a personal-best three sacks ... Ranked 14th in the league with three sacks ... Earned second letter.

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games as a freshman ... Registered a team-high six quarterback hurries and ranked eighth on the team with 35 tackles ... Twice named UND's Special Teams Player of the Week ... Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Humboldt State (Aug. 23) and had a season-high three quarterback hurries ... Had a career-high eight tackles against Central Washington (Sept. 15), including a career-high five solo stops ... Notched his first career sack in UND's win over Augustana (Sept. 29) ... Earned first letter.

2006: Redshirt season.

Before UND: A 2006 graduate of Grand Forks Central High School ... Played for the 2005 Class AAA State champions ... A team captain as a senior and the 2005 East Region Co-Player of the Year ... Named to the 2005 all-state first team and was a two-time (2005, 2004) all-conference first team pick and all-city selection ... Competed in the 2005 Shrine Bowl and Mon-Dak game ... Was named Central's Offensive Co-Player of the Year after rushing for 1,745 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior ... Also made 80 tackles, including six tackles-for-loss ... Won Central's 2005 Ironman Award for offseason training ... Also competed in basketball and track and field.
