2007 (Freshman): Appeared in two games ... Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Humboldt State (Aug. 23) ... On the track and field side of his athletic career, he was the NCC Outdoor Champion in the shot put ... Finished seventh in the discus throw at the NCC Outdoor Championship ... Finished fifth in the shot put and ninth in the weight throw at the NCC Indoor Championship.
2006: Redshirt season ... Participated in his first season on the UND track and field team where he finished sixth in the shot put at the NCC Indoor Championship ... Finished third in the shot put and 13th in the discus throw at the NCC Outdoor Championship.
Before UND: A 2006 graduate of Pipestone Area High School ... Was named 2005 Southern Minnesota Alliance Most Valuable Offensive Lineman and was a first team all-conference selection, the second consecutive year he nabbed each honor ... A three-year starter ...
