JACKSONVILLE, FLA. --- The University of North Dakota women's golt team saw some better weather today and the scores showed, as its team second-round total was 14 strokes lower then its opening round in the Jacksonville University Women's Invitational.
The Sioux finished the par 72, 6,046 yard Hidden Hills Country Club with a two-round score of 720 (366-354) to finish in ninth place.
Senior Amanda Kaler (Fargo, N.D.) carded the lowest score for the Sioux shooting two rounds of 86 for a total of 172 which came in tied for 33rd place, while junior Kristi Lucken (Fosston, Minn.) and sophomore Molly Martin (Ramsey, Minn.) tied for 40th with scores of 180.
Sarah Bejgrowicz was the tournaments medalist as she shot a two-day total of 150.
