VALLEJO, Calif. --- University of North Dakota senior Amanda Kaler shot a final round 82 at the Hiddenbrooke Intercollegiate at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Club, which concluded today with 18 holes.
Kaler, a native of Fargo, N.D., shot an opening round 92 before dropping seven strokes off the second day as she carded an 85 and finished with an 82 today for a three-day total of 259 to lead the Sioux and finish tied for 52nd.
UND finished the event carding a team total of 1064 (368-351-345) to finish in 17th place.
Central Arkansas, which entered the day in third place shot an impressive 301 (17 strokes better than any other team) on the final day, finishing atop the team standings. Central Arkansas ended the event with a score of 949, topping second-place Northern Arizona by 14 strokes (963).
Central Arkansas' Nichole Forshner led through out the event capturing the medalist honor with a final score of 229 (74-82-73).
Junior Kristi Lucken (Fosston, Minn.) finished tied for 56th shooting rounds of 86-87-87 for a total of 260.
