DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - After the second day competition in the UND Women's Golf Invite, the University of North Dakota continues to lead South Dakota 655-705 at the Wild Flower Golf Course in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Kristi Lucken (Sr., Fosston, Minn.) remains in the lead with an overall score of 155 (36-44=80; 37-38=75). Lucken is followed by junior Lauryn Job (Minnetonka, Minn.), who carded a score of 82. Job is currently in second place with an overall score of 167 (44-41=85; 41-41=82). Currently tied for third place with an overall score of 168 (44-41=85; 41-42=83) is Shantel Montgomery (Fr., Minot, N.D.).
Megan Grozdanich (Fr. Grand Rapids, Minn.) carded an 86 in her second day of competition and is currently in fifth place with an overall score of 169 (41-42=83; 47-39=86). In sixth place for the Fighting Sioux women is freshman Robin Hutchinson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) with a two-day total of 172 (44-45= 89; 42-41=83).
Rounding out the Fighting Sioux scores are sophomore Abby Rueter who scored a 93, giving her a two day total of 190 (48-49= 97; 49-44=93). Molly Martin (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.) finished her second day on the course with an 82, which gives her a two-day total of 177 (49-46= 95; 44-38=82)
The Sioux women return to the course on Sunday morning for the final day of competition against the Coyotes.
