MISSOURI CITY, Texas - North Dakota is in eighth place after the opening day of the Husky Invitational, hosted by Houston Baptist at Sienna Plantation.
UND carded a 363 in each of the opening two rounds today to total a team score of 726.
Host Houston Baptist is in first place with a 614 (309-305), three strokes better than the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Shelby Hardy of Sam Houston State leads the individual standings with a two-over-par 146 (74-72) heading into Tuesday's final round.
Senior Kristi Lucken (Fosston, Minn.) was UND's top performer today, carding a two-round 175 (89-86). Lucken will enter play on Tuesday tied for 35th place.
Junior Lauryn Job (Minnetonka) is in 38th place with a 183 (89-94), one stroke in front of teammate Molly Martin (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.), who shot a 184 (95-89) and is in 39th.
Freshmen Megan Grozdanich (Grand Rapids, Minn.) and Robin Hutchinson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) sit 40th and 42nd, respectively.
