Sioux Falls, S.D. - Senior Amanda Fairweather was the top North Dakota finisher at the Jackrabbit Fall Invitational on Tuesday, posting a final-round 80 (+9) to finish the 54-hole tournament with a 242 (+29) and tie for 18th place.
Fairweather led the team in all three round and matcher her first-round score, which was the lowest by a UND golfer. Junior Sadie Martin fnished with an 82 and carded a 250 (+37) for the tournament to tie for 30th.
Junior Olivia Knutson turned in the best round of her UND career, shooting an 82 (+11) on the final round. Knutson transferred from Bemidji State for her final two seasons.
UND finished with a 332 team score to wrap up the invite with a 999 (+147) and finish seventh.
North Dakota State captured the team title with a 912 (+60).
UND returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Coyote Classic in Dakota Dunes, S.D.
