2013 (Sophomore): Made seven appearances, including one start on the hill ... Did not allow a hit in his first two outings of the season ... Through five appearances, squandered just one earned run over 10.2 IP ... Finished the season with a 2-0 record and a 1.84 ERA ... Grabbed first win with a four-inning outing vs. South Dakota State (May 7) ... Did not allow a run and gave up just two hits in that win ... Picked up another win at the Great West Conference Tournament, going 3.2 innings with one earned run and three Ks in a defeat of top-seeded Northern Colorado (May 22) ... Earned second letter.

2012 (Freshman): Appeared in 17 games with two starts on the mound ... Went 2-2 with a 6.32 ERA and 15 Ks ... Picked-up first win out of the bullpen, working two hitless innings at Kansas (Mar. 7) ... Second win came in his second start, a 6.2-inning effort at Chicago State (May 19) ... Before UND: Lettered four years in baseball and football at Detroit Lakes High School … Earned Mid-State All-Conference honors as a senior after posting a 1.36 ERA on the mound and a .290 batting average … Earned similar honors as a junior and was the team’s “Cy Young Award” recipient as a junior and senior … Invited to the Atlanta Braves’ prospect camp.
