Summer 2013: Played for the Hays Larks of the Jayhawk League (Independent).

2013 (Junior): Named to the All-Great West Conference First Team ... Started all 48 games, hitting .295 with four homers, 11 doubles and 31 RBI ... Slugged .450 and had a team-high .460 on-base percentage (among regulars) ... Tied the UND season mark for walks with 38 free passes ...  Hiit by the pitch a team-high 11 times ... Fielded .969 and had just seven errors in 45 starts behind the dish .. Recorded a pair of 5-RBI games, the first a 3-for-4 effort in a blowout at Northern Colorado (Apr. 14) and the latter a 2-for-4 showing with a homer at NYIT (Apr. 27) ... Recorded just one error over his last 16 games ... Collected four hits, six RBI, six runs and a homer in the four games at the Great West Conference Tournament.

Before UND: Played two seasons at Iowa Central Community College .. Hit .255 with five homers in his final JUCO season ... Played in nearly 100 games for the Tritons, leading the team in homers as a sophomore ... Finished with 28 RBI for the second straight season in helping lead ICCC to a 39-21 record ... Prepped at Atlantic (Iowa) High School where he played for his father Trace ... As a senior, Perfect Game named him an All-Central Regional honorable mention honoree ... First Team All-State his final two years in high school on the diamond ... All-conference and all-district nods in all four of his seasons ... A two-time state qualifier in doubles and a singles qualifier as a senior in tennis.
