Coach Ziegler says: “Nathan is a young man who will bring some great credentials and versatility into our lineup.  A very solid athlete and solid player.  Nate is a very heady ballplayer who understands baseball well, a very good student of the game of baseball.  We expect Nate to break out and have a very good offensive year.”

2002: Started in 25 of 31 games in which he played ... Needed little time to break into a Sioux uniform, racking-up six hits in his first 10 at bats ... Drove-in eight runs in the month of March ... Drew 14 walks in 2002, tied for fourth-most on the team ... Swiped three bases for the second-highest Sioux total.

High School: 1999 Century High School graduate ... Lettered four times in baseball and three times in hockey ... Named team captain and MVP in baseball.
