2013-14 (Sophomore): Had a career meet at the 2014 WAC Championship recording three of his fastest times … At 1:38.22, his 200 Yard Freestyle placed him third all-time in UND history, and seventh in the WAC for 2013-14 … His 200 Yard Backstroke placed him third all-time in UND history with a time of 1:50.8 … His 500 Yard Freestyle also placed him fourth in UND history with a time of 4:29.49 … Ranked third in UND history with a 15:52:57 time in the 1650 Yard Freestyle … Named to the All-WAC Academic Team … Named team MVP for the 2013-14 season … Named to the All-WAC First Team … Earned his second letter.
2012-13 (Freshman): Enjoyed a career meet at the TYR Invitational by recording six of his fastest times … Recorded times in five different events that are in the top-ten for UND men’s swimming … Earned his top time in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:39.50, which places him sixth in the record books … Ranks third in UND history with a time of 4:29.49 in the 500 freestyle … His time of 15:52.57 in the 1650 freestyle is third for the swim program … Earned his first letter.
Before UND: Prepped at St. Boniface Diocesan in Winnipeg, Man., Canada ... A member of Swim Manitoba, earned bronze medals in both the 100 free and the 200 free at the 2011 Canadian Age Group Championship ... Set new club records in the 15-17 age group (long course) in the 200 free (1:53.70) and the 100 fly (57.99) ... A member of the record 400 free relay (3:39.62), 800 free relay (8:01.94) and 400 medley relay (4:07.18) teams ... In 2009, broke the Canadian age group record in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.55 in the 14-and-under category ... That mark eclipsed the previous record of 1:55.97 held by three-time Olympian Brian Johns since 1997.
